Hey there D.C., where are all my K-Pop fans at?? Have you been dying to be in a room with all your favorite Pop stars and other devoted fans, fueled with a flurry of events, happenings, star-studded meetups, dance competitions, and live performances, too?! Happening right at the beginning of the summer and sure to be filled with many other surprises along the way - you’re going to want to make sure to grab tickets to this one - because KaptureCon is coming to town!
KaptureCon?! What’s that!!? We’re glad you asked! KaptureCon, the new Korean Pop day festival taking over D.C. on Saturday May 31st, is going to be the hottest event of the Spring - and will see performances from the likes of AMPERS&ONE, BLACKSWAN, and HOHYUN - some of the hottest K Pop stars in the game right now! And all happening right here in Washington D.C. at the DAR Constitution Hall, this is going to be MASSIVE!

Everyone here at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. is so excited to welcome KaptureCon to the city for their inaugural, debut festival for the K-Pop fair this Spring. On Saturday May 31st, catch the festival that will see live performances from Amphers&One, Blackswan, and Hohyun - and many more surprises sure to pop out of the woodworks as we get closer to the debut weekend.
The goal of KaptureCon’s first showcase? To bring the passion, energy, fandom, and fun that has seen K-pop skyrocket to one of the biggest music genres across the world right here to our nation’s capital. On KaptureCon’s super cute website, they mention how the ethos of the festie is that “K-pop is more than music—it’s a community. Our goal is to foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and showcase the talent and creativity of fans and beyond. With KaptureCon, we’re building a vibrant, welcoming space where everyone can celebrate their love for K-pop together,”. Wow - a convention filled with love, diversity, and other K-pop lovers?! We just have to go - and don’t worry, we have tickets for you!
Joining the day’s fun will of course be the mega-pop stars and k-poppers Amphers&One, Blackswan, and Hohyun. Each act brings their own unique and eclectic brand of Korean contemporary jams to every performance they take on, and we expect that same energy during KaptureCon, too! Amphers&One is the up and coming k-pop boy band that started in 2023, but has hit the world hard with popping singles like On and On, and a crew that features members from the Korean diaspora all over the world - including members who live here in the states. Hohyun will add stage support too, bringing his brand of Korean R&B to the crowd that involve his sultry hits like Sunset Boulevard. And finally, Blackswan will tear the house down as they bring their impressive line up and discography to the convention - and we expect only bops and top hits from the girl gang that’s taken over the world. All of these artists are primed and ready for the big stage - now all they need is us to be there to cheer them on!
