Public transport

The easiest ways to get to the venue on public transport are either via the Metro subway system or on the Metrobus. 

The best lines to take when using the Metro are the Orange, Blue, or Red Lines, as they are all only about a 10 or 15-minute walk away from the venue. 

When taking the Red Line, take the train to the Farragut North metro stop. Leave the station on 17th Street, then walk south towards Constitution. When you get to D Street, take a right. You’ll find the main entrance to the hall in the middle of the block. It is between C Street and D Street. On Sundays, you will have to exit on 18th Street. 

If you are taking the Orange or Blue line, you need to take the train to the Farragut West metro stop. The directions from there are then pretty much the same as when taking the Red line. Exit on 17th Street, head south, and then turn right on D Street. 

The Metrobus has several routes with stops that are only a short walking distance from the hall. You can see the real-time schedules on the WMATA website.
