DAR Constitution Hall Rules
Recording devices, laser pointers, weapons, backpacks, coolers and bottles are all prohibited at DAC Constitution Hall. Please be aware that for the safety of fellow guests, all purses and bags are subject to search. Re-entry to DAC Constitution Hall is not permitted, so please do not bring prohibited items.
The policy for children varies according to the event promoter. Full bar service is available in the lobby and the lounge, and for most shows light snacks are also available in the lobby – please do not bring in outside food or beverages. Pets are prohibited at DAR Constitution Hall by policy, but service animals are allowed to accompany guests with disabilities if they remain under the seat or at the owner’s feet.
As DAR Constitution Hall does not produce any of the events presented in the Hall, other policies vary depending on the promoter or sponsor of the event in question.
The hall implements certain rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all guests, staff, and performers at the venue.
These rules need to be followed when you are in attendance. Make sure you are completely aware of these rules and policies before you attend so that your visit will go as smoothly as possible.
Child policy
There is no set policy for the attendance of children at the hall. This is because of the different kinds of events that take place. The events have different event promoters, hence why regulations differ.
The information should be available once you have booked in for your chosen event. However, if you are unsure about the policy for kids, contact the venue directly at (202) 628-4780 or email at [email protected].
Prohibited items
Certain items are not permitted within the venue. If you are found to have any of these items in your bag on your person when trying to enter, you will not be allowed inside.
Make sure you do not have any of these items with you to ensure that the entry process into the venue goes as efficiently as possible.
If you happen to have any of these items when you are outside the venue, make sure to return them to your vehicle (if you came by car).

Concessions
A full bar service is available in the venue. It can be found in the lounge and in the lobby. The lobby also provides light snacks, which are available for purchase during most of the shows hosted at the venue.
As mentioned, outdoor food and drink are not permitted, but there is plenty to enjoy from the food and drink within the DAR Constitution Hall.
